NOTE: because of their waterproofing, rugged phone screens are more expensive than ordinary phone screens and more complicated and time-consuming to install. The installation fees we charge are likely to be cheaper than those charged by ordinary repair centres who have no experience on these specialised units and will take considerably longer to complete the job. Most repair centres will not touch a rugged phone because of the complexity.
WARNING: some sellers import ‘glass-only’ glue-on replacement screen parts, which are much cheaper, rather than the factory-sealed screen in a replacement frame. A glass-only repair is unlikely to be water or dustproof
NOTE: you can source a screen from Aliexpress, but allow up to three weeks’ delivery time from Ali even if you choose courier, as lead times are often 7-10 days before shipping. Free shipping is currently affected by Covid and can take up to 12 weeks. GST is added to all Ali purchases at their Checkout.
