Wiesbaden, Germany (dpa) – Five people were killed and five others
injured in a farmhouse fire in Limburg in western Germany, police
said Tuesday.
The farmer, his wife and their three adult children died in the
flames, a police spokesman said. The grandparents were among the
injured.
The farmhouse burnt down completely, but firefighters could
prevent the fire from spreading to stables and other buildings, Uwe
Zimmermann, local fire chief, said.
The cause of the fire, which broke out in the early hours of
Tuesday was still unknown, he added.
