A woman has pleaded guilty to sex charges after having a baby with a 13-year-old boy.
Cecelia Rona Hale, 32, appeared in Manukau District Court today and confessed to two charges of sexual connection with the boy between the 1st and 4th of July last year, as well as supplying an under 18-year-old with cannabis.
She has been remanded in custody until September, when she will be sentenced.
The boy is believed to have told the principal of his school, who then alerted authorities.
The sentence for anyone found guilty of sexual connection with a child under 16 can face a maximum 10 years in prison.
