911 caller tells dispatcher he murdered his mother and sister

A 17 year old boy in the States has been charged with the murder of his mother and sister after he called 911 and calmly confessed the crime to the operator.
A recording of the 911 call captures home-schooled Jake Evans detailing the murder of Jami, 48, and Mallory, 15, on October 5 at around 12.30am (US time).
Evans admitted in a cool, monotone voice to the slaying of his family members at his home in Aledo, Texas.
“I just killed my mom and my sister . . . I shot them with a .22 revolver,” Evans told the police dispatcher.
When asked why he killed them, he replied “It’s weird. I wasn’t even really angry with them. It just kind of happened. I’ve been kind of planning on killing for a while now.”
Upon further probing from the dispatcher, Evans clarified that he hadn’t been planning on killing his mother and sister specifically, just “Pretty much anybody.”
The motivation remains “A big mystery,” according to Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler.
“I don’t really like people’s attitude,” said Evans. “…Verbally rude to each other and stuff like that.”
Evans chides himself for his self-confessed selfishness, then says that his family were “Suffocating” him in a way. “Obviously, you know, I’m pretty – I guess – evil. But whatever.”
Evans’ father was in Washington D.C at the time of the killing, and one of his two other sisters had been scheduled to come home from University for a visit the next day.
He expressed his concern over the phone that his actions might torment him later in life. “Just to let you know, I hate the feeling of killing someone . . . I’m going to be messed up.
“I don’t mean to sound like a wimp or anything,” Evans said “But this is like, wow. I’ve never done anything violent in my whole life.”
He showed some distress towards the end of the 25 minute phone call, saying “I just thought it’d be quick, you know? I didn’t want them to feel any pain, that’s why I used the gun. It’s like everything went wrong.”
Evans was compliant and helpful during the whole ordeal, informing the dispatcher that he had left the gun loaded on the kitchen counter. He also gave the dispatcher the password for the property’s front gate, and turned on the front porch lights for when the police arrived.
He was arrested without incident, and is being treated as the only suspect in the murder investigation.
