FBI 3, Anonymous 1. That’s the score as the FBI makes its second big take down in as many months, arresting four members of an alleged Anonymous cell named Lulzsec.
The arrests came after Sabu, a prominent hacker turned FBI informant, laid the bait and set the trap.
Also arrested today, but separate from the Lulzsec cell, is 27 year old Jeremy Hammon, who was taken down by the FBI this morning for his part in hacking the website and confidential files of Stratfor.com.
The credit card and personal information of nearly 900,000 clients of the private intelligence company were leaked to Wikileaks by Anonymous.
Anonymous had hit Stratfor and other companies in the wake of late January’s Megaupload arrests in New Zealand.
