Blackview’s BV6300 Pro offers HD-calling, slow-mo video recording and the 6GB/128GB Helio P70 processor in a slim package. There’s everything to like about this phone – it takes stunning photos, it is thinner and lightweight compared to the heavy-duty models – but it is glued shut (hermetically sealed) which means it can’t be serviced if anything goes wrong (and anyone who promises you otherwise is taking the Michael).

That means we only offer two pricing options: trade-only with no warranty, or full-retail with 12 month full warranty including screen breakage. The warranty option is priced similar to our other Helio P70 6/128 phones (BV9600 Pro/BV9700 Pro/BV9800). A standalone screen breakage repair cost is here. The problem is that every time you open them you usually have to replace the screen.

CHARGING OPTIONS – what you need to know: All our phones come with an NZ/AU Adaptive Fast Charger compliant with MTK chipset protocols. Ultra-fast charging is optionally available by using the manufacturer’s European charger (also supplied with phone) with the Antares travel adapter sold at Countdown and PaperPlus for $14.99. The Antares is rated to 10 amps (most ultra-fast chargers are between 3 and 5 amps) and complies with NZ safety standard SAA130534EA. Beware of sites offering “optional” $29.95 “fast chargers” as they may not deliver a fast charge unless the phone uses a Qualcomm (QC) chipset. Most rugged phones use MTK chips and a QC 3.0 wall charger won’t work properly. The optional high-power car chargers sold by the Outdoor Phone Store charge both QC and MTK phones.
