ACC CEO Ralph Stewart resigns

The top leadership of the ACC have failed to survive the aftermath of a news conference over the Bronwen Pullar affair, with CEO Ralph Stewart announcing his resignation this morning.

Stewart’s departure comes less than 24 hours after the resignation of ACC board chairman John Judge.

Both men had been criticised for continuing to defend middle managers who had claimed Pullar threatened them over an email leak. A subsequent recording of the conversation shows no such threat was ever made and no basis for making the claim existed in any way.
