A New Zealand designed iPhone app for business travellers needing hotel accomodation at the last minute can now be used in Australia too.
Stay Today has been put together by an Auckland company, to take advantage of last minute surplus inventory in major hotels each night.
Rather than see rooms go empty, the hotels offer big discounts to last minute wonders, and the iPhone/iPad app allows anyone to book a room at those special rates.
Stay Today has this afternoon announced the service has spread across the Tasman.
“You can use the Stay Today app to get last minute rooms at great prices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and the Gold Coast, as well as the major NZ cities,” a spokeswoman said.
The company is offering a further $15 credit off a customer’s first booking.
