Magazine releases Megaupload documents

New Zealand’s Investigate magazine has today released the crucial company documents that show how Kim Dotcom Schmitz controlled the MegaUpload empire.

The magazine carried out an investigation of Schmitz in 2010 after he took up residence in one of New Zealand’s most expensive properties. See feat1

The breakthrough in the magazine’s research that led to linking Schmitz to MegaUpload only came when Investigate was able to open an account with the Hong Kong Companies Office and gain access to official records in the former tax haven jurisdiction.
