All Black No. 10 Dan Carter is out of the Rugby World Cup after tearing his left groin ligament during practice yesterday.
It’s a devastating blow to the New Zealand side, who’ve depended on the fitness of Carter and captain Richie McCaw to anchor the country’s World Cup hopes.
Colin Slade and Piri Weepu are expected to take up the slack, with Aaron Cruden being called back into the side as well.
